NOTICE OF ARRIVAL - FORM AND ADDRESS TO SEND THE INFORMATION
It is compulsory to contact the Travellers’ Points of Entry, made by the owner/authorized person on behalf of the owner and not by the air company, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (at least 48 hours before the arrival), in order to avoid any inconvenient, namely the prohibition of the entry of the animals due to non-compliance with the health rules laid down.
IT CAN NOT BE ANALYZED IN DUE TIME DOCUMENTATION SENT TO OTHER ADDRESSES. AVOID DIFFICULTIES TO THE ENTRY OF YOUR ANIMALS.
ENTRY OF NON-COMMERCIAL PETS AT LISBON AIRPORT
The Travellers' Point of Entry (TPE) at Lisbon airport is closed between 00:00 and 06:00 am, so the compulsory veterinary checks on non-commercial pets from countries outside the European Union, carried out through this TPE, will take place outside that time.
A tolerance is understood in the case of flights which, although with an hour of arrival close to but before 00:00, motivate that the animals can only be present for veterinary checks after 00:00.
However, this tolerance only takes place in the case of pets for which notice of arrival has been given by travellers with the advance already established by these services.
